A 1990s Renovation Maintains 1890s Charm
The three former single-family Victorian residences that now comprise Newbury Guest House were built in the Queen Anne and Rustic styles. Renovated in the early 1990s, these three homes were joined to create our small, stylish, 35-room boutique hotel in the heart of Boston, and still feature many of the homes' original details such as ceiling medallions and decorative fireplaces.
And the vibe here is as unique as the hotel itself - European charm in a colonial American setting. Take in our collection of paintings from the nearby Pucker Gallery, and people-watch from the lobby's elegant bay window. While you're there, play some chess and treat yourself to our curated collection of fine wines or complimentary premium Lavazza espresso. And meet new friends and fascinating fellow guests from all over the world
